Preparing for the Fall Party

Now that I’m back from Goodwood, I can focus on throwing the Tomyang.net Fall Gathering. The leaves are not quite turing, but perhaps with a couple cold nights this week, it could change by Saturday October 4th. I’m expecting people from all over the Northeast, and even a couple from even further afield. It should be a nice mix of people and cars.

I have food and drinks taken care of, but if you’d like to bring something, I suggest a dessert of some sort.

Sunday, October 5th, is also getting more an more interesting. The plan is to caravan to Festa Di Ferrari from my house with as many interesting cars as possible. We’ve been invited to stop by http://www.classiccargallery.com/ in Southport in the morning to collect more cars and drivers to descend on Festa Di Ferrari in Stamford a 15 mile drive away. Alan and Steve will greet us the Classic Car Gallery and give us a quick tour of their facility before we head out. We will also be using their shop as a meeting place for people to drive with us into Stamford from 10:30-11:45am.

The tentative schedule for our drive is to leave my house in Columbia County NY at about 8:30-9am.

We’ll drive south on the Taconic State Parkway to Interstate 84 East.

From I84 we’ll get on CT Route 7 South.

Route 7 will take us into Post Road where the Classic Car Gallery is located.
