More Suspension Prep

My Friday work day concentrated on cleaning the left suspension pieces, painting them, and making bushings for them.

Just like the springs on the right side, I stripped as much of the rust off these springs, and suspension pieces, and coated all the pieces with some POR-15 paint. These steel pieces will probably never rust away, but having some paint on them will make them look nicer under the car.

With new bushings machined out of teflon, they were pressed in place after the old material was removed and the spring eye was cleaned. compare this picture with the one where the old bushing had worn away, and you can see how much better the rear suspension will ride.
