Vintage Ferrari Tow Rings

Vintage Ferrari Tow Rings

tow rings

Last Fall, fellow 330 America owner Michael Greenspan and I made tow rings for our cars. There is very little in the front of a Vintage Ferrari to attach a tow hook to, and the risk of damaging something from a careless tow truck driver was too high not to install a proper tow ring to the front of the car. I found the front sway bar mounts to be a good place to attach a tow ring, and fabricated some heavy steel pieces for the job.

The tow ring is low enough to clear the front valence and radiator, but not lower than the lowest part of the car.

After trying them out on our cars, we made a batch for sale to other Vintage Ferrari owners. These are satin black powdercoated quarter inch steel pieces that will come with slightly longer bolts to secure the ring to your sway bar mounts.  E-mail me if you’re interested. I know they fit 250 GTEs, Lussos, and early 330 2+2s. but they should fit any Vintage Ferrari with a d-shaped sway bar bushing mount.

Just a reminder, I’m looking for a new Vintage Ferrari Project. If you have, or know of a restoration project, please let me know. It would be great to restore another car on this website! My E-mail.
