PF Coupe Headliner and Fog Lights

headliner

I set up a nice flat area to carefully clean the headliner of the the PF Coupe. The 50 year old headliner is very fragile, but we’re trying our best to save it. After using a mild cleaner, it became obvious it was going to need something more aggressive to get the stains out.
stains

The worst stains are on the c pillar areas, and certain solvents are getting the stains out, but the result is a little blotchy. I’m going to speak to our upholsterer and see if perhaps the best solution is to dye the whole headliner with vinyl dye. I’ll let you know what I find!
fog lights

I finally found a Marchal fog light lens to replace the cracked one (pictured on the left). I’ve learned a lot about Marchal fog light lenses in this process, but the most important thing is there are a ton of variations of Marchal lights! The fog light lenses I have here are the 660 size and they are often found on PF Coupes and California Spyders. They are the larger of the Marchal lights found on Vintage Ferraris, and there are several different lenses with different Fresnel lens patterns cut into the glass.

Reminder: If you’re looking for a Vintage Ferrari, or have a Vintage Ferrari for sale, please let me know. I would be happy to help you in any way that I can. I am not a broker, but occasionally hear of a good car for sale and can get them to the end user!
