Annual Tomyang.net Pledge Drive

Hi All,

As I get older, it seems the years go by faster and faster, and if you’ve been following this blog through the years, it’s one of the few ways I have to show for what I’ve accomplished in the past year. I want to thank you for reading along and joining me in this journal of Vintage Ferraris and all the offshoots this career has taken me. This once a year pledge drive is also a way for you to show your appreciation for having a steady stream of Vintage Ferrari, and car related content available on a regular basis. It’s not like a TV show, with 13 episodes, repeats, and more drama about personalities than about content. I try very hard to provide at least one post a week (usually more) with content that is interesting and new. I don’t have to worry about ratings, or sponsors to keep this website alive, and honestly, I would probably do it without your support, but what you give during this pledge drive period reinforces my reasons for keeping this blog alive: you like what you see and want to see more.

Forum maintenance, server fees, and dealing with problems associated with running a website is what your pledge supports. I also correspond with hundreds of people a year, helping them with their problems, and referring them to others that can help if I can’t. I feel I’ve created a small island on the Internet of community, friendship, and support that we can all share. If you’ve ever benefited from something that may not have happened without of this connection, pay it back so I can continue to pay it forward. Thanks.

Next year will be a milestone year for this website. It will be 20 years in July when I posted my first entry about buying a 330 America in boxes a pieces. Who knew where that fateful post would have taken me this far with the car, this website, and my life. I hope to mark the anniversary some way next year so stay tuned!
