Hi All. It’s that time of the year again when I ask visitors to this website to donate some funds to help with the costs and effort to keep this website going. This website has been in existence for over 20 years following my journey working on Ferraris. As I look on the Internet, I realize there are very few places that offer the same experience this website provides. The commercial websites can offer information and supplies, but their motivations are sometimes colored by the products they sell. The Forums can offer a good resource for information, but I have found a very low “signal to noise” ratio when trying to find good useful information. My website has a forum, but I try my best to moderate it by reading every post and interjecting when I have something to offer. I also try to research the answers to questions from personal resources and contacts in the business to help owners privately or publicly on the forum. I’m always available to help owners and shops with questions and help with problems. How many professional shops do you feel you can contact any time with questions about your Ferrari?

On pure entertainment, I have always felt if I find what I’m doing interesting, there has to be people out on the Internet that would find it worth sharing. Through the years, I have collected quite a following and the traffic has grown along with this website beyond my expectations. Just like my professional life, I’m dedicated to this website because I truly enjoy the work, but it still takes time and money to keep it going. Your donations help remind me that there are hundreds and maybe thousands of people out there benefiting from my posts. Whether it’s from information to help with your personal car or simply a place on the Internet that you can visit for your weekly view of my life around Vintage Ferraris, this site appreciates your support.

As the Internet and the way we view websites, I too have to change. Facebook, Instagram, and other social media outlets give us more places to attract our attentions. I see the traffic changing and have been posting some things on Facebook and Instagram. I have not decided if these posts will be different, or simply support what I do on this blog, but you can look for me on these social media feeds. I will probably never stop blogging because it’s been a part of my life for over 20 years, but look for access to more things from different outlets.
