I installed the long awaited bumpers for the GTC I’m assembling. These bumpers were checked for fit several months ago to make sure the gaps to the bodywork were small and uniform. With the final assembly, I think it was worth the wait!

I still have one more piece of the puzzle to fit onto this car, and it’s this molding on the fenders. This little brass piece needed some studs soldered on to replace ones that had broken off. With new studs installed, I wanted to make sure they lined up with the holes in the fender before sending the part off for final chrome plating. There are painted pieces that fit behind this trim piece that was also checked for fit. It’s a lot of steps, but insures everything fits before final assembly.
