Restoration of the GTE continues. I installed the window felt u-channel pieces. These allow the windows to slide freely up and down the window channels.

I took the gas tank down to the radiator shop for cleaning and sealing.

I wanted to install the cowl vent grate on the car, but realized there were a couple of other things to address first, and one of them was the windshield wiper gear boxes. These can be easily disassembled and greased to give the Lucas wiper motor a fighting chance at working windshield wipers. I often wished I had done this with my car many years ago when it was largely disassembled, as my wipers always seemed a slow and cantankerous. Getting my gear boxes out today would be a lot harder. Live and learn!
