I heard the sad news that Carlo Durante passed away and I will miss him. He was a well known mechanic in the Pacific Northwest and had a shop in Tacoma. I met him many years ago when I heard he had a 250GTE that he was considering selling. Here’s a video I shot of a visit to the car.

I was always honored when I would get a call through the years from Carlo, and we would catch up with what we were up to, or if Carlo had a question for me about Vintage Ferraris. I spoke to him just a few months ago, and didn’t realize he was sick. My thoughts go out to his family. Carlo, rest in peace, my friend.
