I took this picture about 20 years ago and have been using it as my Forum and Facebook avatar. I was in my early 30s back then, and was early into the assembly of my 330 America that I purchased in 1999. A lot has changed since then, so I think it’s time to update the photo.

I’m currently working on a Ferrari 250GTE that was perfect to recreate the photograph. The car is a little lower on jack stands, but I tried my best to get it close enough. I’m a little older, and a little grayer, but fun to see the differences.

The biggest difference in the last 20 years is the birth of my daughter, and the fact that she’s 16 already! She occasionally helps me around the shop, and was a big help setting up the photo, so we took another one with her.
