Ferrari 250GTE Front Suspension

I started the process of putting the front suspension back together on a 250GTE I have at the shop. The king pins were in good shape and so were most of the needle bearings inside, but I decided to replace all of them since I had everything apart. Several of them were rusty, so it was better to replace them all.

Keeping them all in place and not lose any was done with grease.

The newly plated control arms had changed dimensions slightly so they all needed to be reamed to size before installing.

With all the pins, pivots, king pins, bearings, washers, and bushings installed and greased, I checked the movement of the suspension without the spring installed. It all worked nice and smoothly as it was intended. I sat on a crate and moved the suspension up and down several times admiring the parts. It was very satisfying!
