I just had a great idea! I can burn that MP3 to a CD, and then crank it while I am driving my car. If I can't own a v12, at least it could sound like it for a little bit....

I am sure that is likely to get me a speeding ticket, who could drive slow to that great sound?

Those side vents are truly awful. That being said though, I don't seem to mind anything else too much. That interior looks pretty busy, but I wouldn't mind it for a driver. I wonder if it will sell for much less than a truly original car, it could be a really good deal if it did.

I stopped by an indian casino a while back and they had a mustang outside in a carcoon type enclosure. It was in a pretty dusty climate, so it did a good job of keeping the car looking nice on display outside. It also kept onlookers from actually touching the car which was a bonus. (for the casino) ...

The same guy has a grill on eBay that might be of interest to you Tom. Of course it looks like it may need as much work as your old one....

Well, I can't say that I know much about where you can have your car repaired, but I can't faul your choice of destination. I love Portland, and in Summer it can be extra nice. If you get out here, I'll buy you a beer. Of course I don't have a Ferrari, but I could swap MG stories for your Ferrari on...

The thing that I can't believe is that the seller still wants 10,000 for it, and it has a chevy engine and transmission!

Tom, Here are another couple construction tips that might help. I would probably find a smoke detector and CO detector that has a remote alarm. This way you can hear the alarm go off up in the house if something goes really wrong in the basement. I would also recomend keeping a high quality fire ext...

I believe that wreck has been up on eBay a few times. I think that it has even been mentioned here before too. I don't think that there is any low price that could get me into a car with that much body and suspension damage. It really looks like a money pit to me.. Of course, some people will do any...

It is a shame that you didn't get Firehouse number two. That neighborhood is pretty cool. In school I had a project to design a community center in that neighborhood. I think that I even still have scale models of that neighborhood somewhere. The traffic in front of Firehouse number six would throw ...

Just to provide a bit of perspective, I thought that I would include this comparable 330 America, that was priced less, but had a running, rebuilt engine.

When I first saw this car, I wanted it. I figured that this car would be the ultimate way to start into Ferrari ownership. (I guess that I must be that inexperienced person mentioned further up in the thread.) Of course when I saw that price, I simply changed my mind. The car may be worth that much ...

Foam Carving Technique

Tom, I caught a program on the discovery channel this weekend about custom motorcylce construction. The show went into great length about how the seat was made. Interestingly enough, the tool that the upholsterer used to shaped to foam looked like an electric carving knife. It looked like it made th...

Tom,
I have been watching the seatbelt thread and I was curious as the the reason for the bend in the bottom of the seatbelt mounting plate. Wouldn't it just be easier and cleaner to mount a flat plate against the side of the sill? Just curious,

Holy Cow!
Did I read that right? Did these cars really once have the price of $180,000? I know that the 330's have gone through a major price adjustment, but I never knew that it was in the six figure area!

Is this real, or is it just an insane asking price?
