Thanks to all for your comments, experiences, and photos. I'll need to go down to our Fire House to find a 300+ torque wrench. Better yet, leave it to the professionals. I will tell the few local experts, other than the obvious Francois/Tom team, to look into the Ricambi tool and cross reference thi...

Knock Off Nut Torque

Esp. w/ reference to Ricambi's new tool, I searched unsuccessfully for the correct knock off nut torque setting for our Series II s/n 8325. Does not mean that the info is not directly in front of me. Anyone know where to find the answer? I tried the 'search' function here and at Kerry's site. Thx, LJH

Your opinions seem to match Keith Martin's of Sports Car Market and Michael Sheehan. That is, Muscle cars and various other bits of American iron may be toppy, but there is still value in the Ferrari marketplace. LJH

Guys, Remember my stalk saga that Paul Russell started by breaking my 2 LH stalks? Well the replacements from Maranello Concessionaires are not the indented ones (the black end) but the smooth ones from probably 250's. I have the originals if I can help in any way. If anyone makes a new set of repla...

Simon, Also, call a local London shipper such as Trans-Euro (still in business?) and they will arrange w/ their correspondent shipper in the area where the engine is located and handle it all from the East side of the Pond. That way you are doing business locally, avoid the Trans-Atlantic hassle, an...

You may need new tires, and additionally have other problems. Check your tie rods, suspension bushings, etc. Also, even w/ new tires make sure that the wheels are properly balanced and inflation is to spec. As to tires, I use Michelin XWX 205 x 15, but there is probably a Pirelli sized somewhere aro...

If it's s/n 8101, search this site for previous posts from as recently as the past month or two. I looked at the car back in 2001 and from descriptions I heard I don't think it's in better shape now. The people at that dealership seem friendly enough and their PPI recommendation guy is well reputed....

Did it have the rear license plate mounted in plastic holder on rear package shelf? If so, see pix of car on www.newcanaanmotorsports.com website under the 2003 rally and show area. Jack

I think that is the car we looked at back in mid-2001 before purchasing 8325. I recall that at the time it had a dash made out of barnsiding and the original was available for reinstallation along w/ some other parts. There were also parts either non-original or missing, including minor items such a...
