It might be.

At his website on the restoration of his Fiat 1500 Cabriolet, Josh discovered that his heater valve was the same as ours, so it wouldn't be strange if what you found is similar. Josh, do you have any insight?

Do both.

I had my alternator rebuilt by Eddie Witkum at North Shore Auto Electric in Danvers, MA. He has a great reputation among the vintage car garages in the area and was highly recommended by Michael at Glynn Motorsports. There was an internal mechanical failure and my diodes were shot. He Quoted a price...

A GREAT day

What a wonderful day. For those of you who didn't go, Reading was a lot of fun. The trip was a pleasant 2 hour zoom up from Baltimore. Mapquest got me close and then I just followed the line of bright red things into the club grounds. Wow! I didn't expect to see such a wide range of Ferraris. The GT...

A cool concept

I need a new basic computer and did a search on emachine. Along with the expected site, I found this site related to part fabrication. I immediately thought of all of the fabrication projects that have been discussed in this forum. This might be a good resource

imho

I have a real Mazda bias. If I was in your shoes, I'd spend 12-15 k on an unmodified series 3 RX-7. Budget 3K for the rebuild when the rotor seals go and spend the rest on a memorable vacation with the wife. You won't regret it.

Castle Hill Concours d'Elegance

I heard a rumor that the Castle Hill Concours d'Elegance, an anual event at the Crane estate in Ipswich MA, will not be taking place this year. Can anyone confirm this?

A wish list? Hmmmm.

I would love to know if you find an electric window switch for the passenger side door of a series 2

Thanks

Restoration Diary links

All the links to the restoration diary seem to be missing www.tomyang.net
such that http://www.tomyang.net/cars/ferrari426.htm becomes http:///cars/ferrari426.htm.

That's great!

Thank you Mark. It sounds like it will be a lot easier than I thought it would be. The challenge will be in the sewing.

Head Liner

One of the details that I find attractive on my 330 is the ribbed head liner. I have a 67 BMW 2000cs that needs a new liner. I was thinking about adding a bit of class to the BMW by replicating the look of the Ferrari. Can anyone tell me how the Ferrari head liner is constructed? Thank you.

In my car (a series 2) you press the bottom of the rocker in to turn it on.
