Optima battery failed after 4 months!

I am extremely disapointed with Optima batteries. After spending $170 at Pep Boys on an Optima Red Top, it failed after 4 months. The problem was hard to diagnose at first. My car started having difficulty starting but the battery would still crank. Hooking it up to a tester gave me mixed results. E...

The price of vintage 12s has gotten so high that I just could not afford one now. I am still a huge fan and hope to have one in the future. I love old cars the most. $600 for a week??? It would take thousands to enjoy a week at cavallino. Hotel, track, show, plus all the events. Its not for the faint of wallet. I try to go to the free events like the Guest Lecture Series and sometimes it feels like if security is going to come and haul me away from the Breakers ...

Bad luck, Good luck? I am sure that it did not help that Tom was praying for a mishap that would make for interesting writing for this sight! Everyone should keep this in mind when giving Tom a ride.....the adventure of mechanical problems is what drives him......:)

Guest Lecture Series at Cavallino

Last year, I had the chance to attend the Guest Lecture Series at Cavallino and I must say it was awesome! Its a classroom setting were marque experts cover three different cars (one at a time). Then after each car is studied the group walks outside to further discuss the car live. They also start t...
