Thanks - I'm leaning towards the less expensive option. Sounds like a reasonable way to go.

Heater hose
Hi - My Daytona seems to have original heater hose, which is cracking and probably need replacement. I've found two potential sources for replacement, so was looking for input. The first source is Newco, which is a bit more expensive but seems geared towards the restoration market. I've also been to...

Seat belts
I'm looking for a set of seat belts for a 1971 US 365 GTB/4 Daytona - any ideas?
Does anyone know of a place that can restore/repair the original webbing of a vintage seat belt?
Thanks,
David

Re: Tire recs for Daytona
275/55? That seems really wide. I'm surprised that will fit.

Tire recs for Daytona
Hi - am getting Campagnolo's restored (7.5's and 9's) for Daytona, wanted to forgo the XWX's for something with more modern performance and reasonable price, while still not looking totally out of place. Any recommendations on brand/type? The car currently has 235/60 in front, 255/60 in rear, and I ...

Re: Power window
Thanks everyone - I ended up using JB Weld to put it back together and so far it's working. May get the one on eBay just in case.

Re: Power window
Yeah, I've been doubting the glue idea myself, may try and see if I can get some screws through it all.
Here's a picture.

Re: Power window
It seems that my problem is the gear that is turned by the worm-gear coming off of the motor. This piece has a plastic gear, which is fine, and then a flat, round metal piece on the back side of it that is next to the spool that winds the cable. This flat, round metal piece looks like it is supposed...

Re: Power window
Seems like it might be the "D-shaft." There is slippage between the wheel that winds the cables and the attached gear wheel - There's a shaft that runs through both, so seems it must be this shaft. I haven't been able to take this out/apart, yet, but if this is the problem, are there any replacement...

Power window
Hi - I've looked through some other postings about power windows, but wanted some advice. My passenger window doesn't move. When the switch is on (either direction), the motor runs, but the pulley/cables don't move. The cables all seem intact. So far it seems to be a gear issue - agreed? Is there an...

Re: Handbrake shaft
Do others have a light at the tip of their handbrake that goes on when the handbrake is applied? It doesn't show up that way in my parts catalog, and I therefore haven't been able to find my broken part. It's chrome plated and hollow so that wires can travel up to the light at the tip.

Unlevel
I noticed my 330 is not sitting level. There is about an inch difference from one side to the other, with driver's side 1 inch lower at wheel wells than passenger side. My first thought is an unevenly worn spring. Common culprits to consider?
Thanks,
David
