Just saw it today racing at Lime Rock (it won after a Dotson [correct spelling?] put up a good fight) and is incredible specimen.

Would it be correct to assume as it is the only unrestored 250 GTO it's the most valuable ferrari in the world?

It's serial number is 3647GT btw

THe silver one went for 85,000 ($127,000) Euro and the black heavily restored one for 150,000 Euro ($225,000), is this a new record?

Is it worth hiring a trusted or experienced shop or individual to seek out a 250 GTE for me if I don't have the time and knowledge to sniff one out myself? There are one or two places in CT and MA I would use, but if someone has a person they would recommend in New England or New York, I would great...

also may I add that I was a little sketched out by the car. The odometer was clearly rewound (however the seller fully acknowledged this and was in the process of putting together a seemingly very honest history of the car.) but there were other things like badly patched paint, knock off replacement...
