Re: 330GT clutch

I have already posted this on FerrariChat with no responses. So I thought that I would try here too. I have a 1966 Ferrari 330GT, whose clutch throwout bearing must be replaced. It is a single row ball bearing. Ferrari Technical Letter #62 of Feb. 28, 1967 states that this bearing should be S.K.F. ...

Re: Evans waterless coolant

I am not interested in getting in an argument with anybody over this issue, but here are two facts: 1. NOTHING cools engines better than 100% water. Even a 50/50 mix of antifreeze will not transfer heat better than straight water. So for the most efficient cooling of the motor, use straight water. ...

Re: GTE Motor Mounts help

i can follow both conciderations of Timo and "the state of art" Dyke. The right level of the old F-cars is very theoretical ( amount of fuel, amount of pesengers, no adjustabel schocks, worn leaf springs, etc etc). 80 % of the pre 1964 F- cars hang down at the end...... when used. So the oil goes ba...

Re: Evans waterless coolant

I did always have a bit PITA by waiting in front of the Gotthard tunnel from Swiss- Italy in full sunshine i takes at least 50 min of stop and go . Always staring on the temp gauge terrible. Even when the car reach the 100 degree l...

Re: How do you drive your 250 during break-in ?

Hello lucky break in guys,
With a complete overhauld engine I don´t put in FULL synthetic oil in the beginnig.
it seams the oil scrap rings nead a ceartan friction on the inside of the liners.
otherwise oil consumtion will start.
