330GT Complete Exhaust System for Sale

This system was removed from my 330GT #8715 when I replaced it with a stainless steel system fabricated by Timevalve. The components range from original (on car since purchased in 1977) to brand new. All surface rust was treated with zinc phosphate and flat high-temp paint (ex. headers) to prevent f...

Re: Coil Red Paint

I agree with Parker Hall's opinion (in catalog) that the coils and resistors were probably painted with the same paint at the Marelli, factory but that heat darkened the resistors. It just doesn't make sense that Marelli would buy two different colors. Also, my recollection of 1960's oil-based indus...

Re: 330 main bearing groove installation

I have seen it on a couple of 330's, when you are on the gas the oil pressure is higher, when you let off the gas the oil pressure drops even though the RPM does not cha...

Re: Fuel Pump(s) Reliability

Tom: I still think the double banjo is the more elegant solution, and certainly easier than machining a special outlet. If leakage is a problem, I would try the same type of copper gasket/washers that are used for similar sealing in many other locations. An '84 Mercedes I once owned had those washer...

Re: Captured nut replacement

I can't believe ACE would carry something so esoteric. Whatever can they be used for (aside from old Ferraris). Perhaps appliances.

Hi Kerry: That's the same color as my jack. I'll try to find it (you've seen my barn!!) and see if there is a sticker.

Re: Engine compartment trim

What do you mean by trim? "Trim" usually means parts that are fastened on. Or do you mean the black painted surfaces. I have a late 330 GT (#8715) and the painted surfaces are smooth.
