For wiper scratches on an Alfa Montreal, I bought a kit from Eastwood I think. It was about $60. It did help to remove the worst of the scratches. However, be very careful, as if you get too aggressive, you will effect the smoothness of the glass and cause warped images. The process is kind of messy...

Both 250GT and Tom are correct. NO synthetic oil during break-in period. In fact, we do NOT use synthetics in the motors of any of our vintage Ferrari's, both street and race cars.

When built by the factory, the engines were run on the dyno for a number of hours at varying rpm and loads. The Owners Manual recommends to stay under 4,000 rpm for the first 1,000 Kms, and under 5,000 rpm for the next 2,000 kms. I have never heard an automotive engineer favor hard usage to break-in...

What is really important is that the motor slope slightly to the rear. The oil drain holes in the heads are to the rear, and require the motor to slope to the rear to help drain the oil from the heads. If the motor slopes to the front, the oil will puddle in the heads and then find it's way down the...

The Lucite lacquer results in a less shiny finish if you do not polish it to the last degree. The silver paints of that era were not highly metallic, so not so shiny.

I am the original source for the Chrysler paint. We matched an original spare wheel in 1972. I must be feeling helpful today, and went to the shop and found the 1972 can of paint. Martin: I do not believe that is necessarily a good assumption. The U-joints were sourced from an outside supplier and would not had to have the same style grease fitting.

Ed: The front lights have sockets for two filament bulbs, and the rears have sockets for single filament bulbs, so they are different units.

It all depends on two things. Where you are located and how the car is stored. In rural Illinois, all our gas is ethanol, but the blend for this area is very stable and lasts well. If you live near a large city or on the west coast, your gas will not last four weeks without gumming up the carburetor...
