A couple of years ago, Dave bought a Dino from my father, removed the 70's era racing stripe stickers, and painted it. Seemed like a lot of money then...
Almost bought a E-type coupe from him before the Ferrari. Nice guy who always has nice cars.

Cool-likely will establish the other end of the price range after the last 4HL on ebay. I'm imagining a pile of iron oxide in the rough shape of a 60's ferrari-not sure what parts are worth saving from the description.

We need the vin to add to the list of 4HL that are no more.

source for spark plug wires?

Anyone have any suggestions for new wires (330gt) (ideally correct or at least correct-looking)? always something to do....
Car back today with fixed brakes. Apparently a previously installed master cylinder had been put back in without a boot over the end, and this had lead to some sticking etc.

I've also had trouble from time to time post refuel-fixed with the electric pump and more throttle than I would usually use to start the car. If you have a manual, you can read that that is the recommended procedure for a difficult hot start. I had a similar experience with friendly people when my r...

A better knock-off tool would be great-maybe it could have some way to secure itself around the back of the knock-off ears too, to avoid concerns about the tool slipping off when initially tightening or loosening. And it needs to fit in the trunk easily.

I think some of the volatility of the prices of the older cars is mostly likely the result of a slight decrease in the cars available or a slight increase in interest. When I had my car listed (not the tip top of the condition level, but certainly far from the bottom), my phone was not ringing conti...

Another important question would be how often the car has been driven over the last few years. A regularly used car, driven good distances will almost always be in better condition than one that comes out of the garage once a year for the local ferrari club display. A rarely used car, even with a go...

Dan, I think I just pump the pedal a little while its turning over-Mine sometimes takes a few tries depending on how recently its run, and it usually starts with what sounds like less than 12 cylinders, with the others joining in over 10 seconds or so. You might be giving it too much gas with a full...
