Re: My 330 GT Engine To Be Rebuilt

Dan- You are very fortunate to have Richard working on your car. Richard worked on my first Ferrari, a 1988 Testarossa when he worked for the Ferrari Dealer. Richard is a true Ferrari enthusiast and any car he touches is better for it. Richard also advised me when I was purchasing my 250GTE. Richard...

The wire wheels are so hard to keep clean. In addition, I like the maintence free aspect of no spokes for extended and hard driving. I had not really that about the looks part assuming a Ferrari wheel would not look to out of place. A manufactured image is an excellent idea!

Alternate Wheels

Are there any Ferrari alloy wheels that are the same dimensions as the stock wire wheels on a GTE?

Count me in for a set as well for a 250 GTE. I am happy to participate in the silkscreen setup charges as well.

I purchased a four-post lift earlier this year for my garage. I went through much of the same thought process outlined above and decided the four-post was the way to go for me. I use it all the time just to vacuum my cars! No bending over, you can see under the seat it is great! I looked at just abo...

Gas Smell

I have a 1962 250 GTE which has a gas smell (in the cabin) under certain circumstances. When I fill up the tank it smells or when the tank is at or greater than half-full and I go through corners I get a gas smell. I have not removed the tank but no lines seem to be broken. No visible wetness anywhe...

Taking apart the console

I am started to take apart the console that contains the radio and all of the switches to hook up my new cables for the heat & ventilation system. A couple things I need help with, how do you get this piece out? I unscrewed the four screws but the shifter is in the way and I can't slide the unit out...

Thanks for the photos! Why do you think your heater valve is the wrong one? It looks like the other ones I have seen on series I and II cars. Yours is installed differently than another photo I was just sent, the hose connections were reversed from yours. More mysteries! I will see if a third person...

I do not believe either of the units on ebay is correct for my car. One I think is a unit for a 4L engine the other I do not recognize. I believe I have the right part; I was able to get it from Partsource. My real problem is the location and hose this valve mounts to. What I real need is a referenc...

Wiper Motor and Heater Valve

Tom thanks for the information in your Email, as suggested I will post my questions here. Your heater valve is differant than mine probably due to you haveing the larger engine where mine is only the 3L. If anybody has an photos or a digram of where the heater valve goes (which hose?)under the hood ...
