Paul, Hopefully my posting regarding the clock will be helpful. I would love to help you with the switch question, but unfortunately my switches were not working when I purchased the car and with the dash dissassembled I may never figure out which way was "on" or "off". Someone should write a book a...

Paul, I recently took apart my Daytona dash and yes, he should be able to unscrew the four knurled nuts holding the metal face plate and then lean it forward to get the clock. He may encounter problems working around the steering wheel (I had removed mine first) and the nuts holding the instruments ...

I also purchased a silver hood pad for my Daytona from T.Rutland/Maranello Auto Parts in Atlanta. I haven't installed it yet, but it is highly accurate by all accounts and was much less expensive than ReOriginals or anywhere else. I've purchased a ton of parts from Ted Rutland (who runs T. Rutland a...

I don't know about the 330 or if FerrariGuyMa is posting on behalf of the seller, but I can say that the owner of Autosportdesigns, Tom Papadopoulos, has been very easy to work with. I'm considering purchasing one of his cars and have been most impressed with his professionalism, his staff and his b...

SWEET!!
I would love to have all that open space for tools, but like most homeowners, my garage is filled with regular cars, lawn equipment and kids toys.

Job + Ferrari + Wife + House = Kids (which are more fun and require more patience than any Ferrari!)

Go to http://www.pipercross.com/competition_filters.htm. I saw one of their filters on a 3-carb Ferrari. I believe the guy told me that he had to custom fabricate the mounting bracket, but that's less work than an engine rebuild. Please let me know where you got your stacks from as I'm looking for a...

I wonder if anyone has ever put a Ferrari engine in a ski or jet boat (anyone see the movie "One Crazy Summer"?).

I've heard lots of roaring V8's, but never a wide-open V-12 with short-pipes blowing across the water -- now that would be music!

It will no doubt need to be taken completely apart and rebuilt if it has really just been sitting there for 6 years. Why on earth would someone go to all the trouble to rebuild it and then put in on "static display"?

Type of Aluminum used for engine blocks?

I'm curious if anyone happens to know the exact type of aluminum alloy that Ferrari used for sand-casting engines in the 60's and 70's. Most literature just says "light aluminum alloy", but I'm sure someone's got to know the exact type in order to do welding repair work. Here are some good descripti...

Interesting, looks like it sold for $126,000 in early 1999. I would've thought a good GTO recreation would be worth more than that.

Mabye somebody (Tom Yang?) will host a show just for DIY owner/restorers. I went to the Palm Beach CC this year (for the first time) and was dissappointed. I was hoping to get some helpful hints about restoring my Daytona, but the few that were actually sitting next to their cars weren't easy to tal...

330 GTO "Recreation" (#6689) on eBay

This is actually about the 4th time he's posted it on ebay. From the pictures, it looks like he had it at Cavallino earlier this year. It seems to be accurate, I wonder why it hasn't sold yet?
