Great car and great story. It's funny how sometimes you just know when you've found the right car. I've had a similar experience and although my search (for a vintage Corvette) took longer, when I found my car I knew right away that it was the one.

Suffice it to say that this car has been abused in so many ways over the years that it's unlikely that much of anything from the original 250 PF has survived beyond some of the body panels and frame.

I would, however, love to see this car saved. A closer inspection would have to be made to see how bad the damage was to the frame. Based on the registry entries it looks like he didn't even own the car for a year. Bummer.
