Re: Fuse board junction/terminal/connector

Kevin. Thanks for your update. I am very happy that the strip worked. The hero of this is 250gtgt knowing where the part could be found. I was just the delivery man.

Re: Fuse board junction/terminal/connector

I am still in Paris. The piece I showed you is with the the stuff to bring back. I will walk over to BHV (a department with a great hardware section on the basement) to see if these strips come in different sizes. What is the width of the Bakelite strip you have. I am not sure if they are sold by am...

Re: Fuse board junction/terminal/connector

Kevin,

If you are not in Europe I would be happy to stop at a hardware store and buy one for you. I will be returning to the US next week and can send it to you when I return.

Re: TY Party @ Greenspans

Art, Sorry to hear about the hospitalization. When Tom and I started to arrange the gathering we definitely hoped that you could show up. After all, your Ferrari is the only Ferrari our son Joshua has ever driven. He still avoids driving mine. You were missed. I hope that we can do this before anoth...

Re: TY Party @ Greenspans

One other thing, although we will all be too busy talking about cars and catching up on all these past years, there is a rather nice pool at the house so if you think that might lure you, please bring a towel along with a suit.

Looking forward to seeing everyone

A well deserved thank you

Almost 19 years ago my son decided I needed a Ferrari. It’s a long involved story and this is not about me but about finding Tom. I searched the internet and found his fledgling web site and sent him a message seeking information. That led to a long phone call and maybe the first car Tom guided a “c...

Re: GTE Manual. A New Full Colour Reprint

I just received my copy. It is a beautiful reproduction and I want to thank Graham for undertaking this addition to my Ferrari’s documentation and glove compartment. Given what original anything to do with classic Ferraris costs I think some of you might find it amusing to learn that the previous ow...

Re: What color to paint my Series 1 330GT

Glad to hear that you chose Marrone. Even happier to hear that you are pleased with the results. When I bought my car I told the owner that I was getting a stealth Ferrari - nobody would notice as I drove by. Boy was I wrong. People love the car in that color. After owning the car for 16 years I sti...

Re: What color to paint my Series 1 330GT

Hi Rob, If you are in the New York City area at any point before you make your decision and would like to see a 1963 330 America in its original Marrone I would be happy to introduce you to my car. When I bought the car I thought the color was fine but not a wow. 15 years later I know I was wrong gi...

Tom Terrific

I don't usually attend events like Monterey but the draw of the third GTE reunion and the idea of returning our car to the neighborhood it came from proved too appealing. In talking to Tom about the trip he said "I think the car could win a Platinum in Preservation Class". I thought it was a real st...

A 1987 exhibition at the Cartier Foundation - Ferrari

We are in Paris and were looking at the new Cartier Foundation exhibit web site and came across this film about a 1987 Marc Newson exhibit featuring Ferraris. A long video but I hope you will find it interesting. Some Italian and of course French but mostly music and Ferraris. This is the you tube l...
