Re: 250 GTE window crank

Thanks for the lead. The Series 1 car has a Millerighe socket to connect to the window cranking shaft. Might work.

Thanks for the guidance. How can you tell when it's topped off?

330 GTC horn compressor lubrication

Is there an easy procedure for accessing the oil filler on the horn compressor? The compressor is located way down behind the grill in front of the radiator. Practically inaccessible. The owners' manual shows the compressor sitting on the left hand fender liner ahead of the brake booster. My car is ...

250 GTE window winder door crank

One of my original pot metal window cranks has broken off. I repaired it once using a piece of metal and super glue to splint it back together and this worked for a couple of years. Now that repair has failed. Recommendations for replacement would be appreciated. My guess is that these were not excl...

Re: GTE Seat Covers

I have seen terry cloth seat covers that fastened to the cushion and seat back over the pleated sections of the leather seats on a 330 GT 2+2. The word "Pininfarina" was stitched into the terry cloth. The car was for sale at Fantasy Junction. I also have photos of similar seat covers apparently made...

Re: PF Coupe and Cabriolet belly pans

I should also note that I purchased this car from Carlo Durante, who just died last week and is referred to in a nearby recent post. Carlo was a neat guy, very warm to me. An original.

Re: PF Coupe and Cabriolet belly pans

Hi Dave,
Sure. Scoop opening dimensions are +/- 1.5 inches tall and +/- 9 inches long. This belly pan accompanied the car when I purchased it and I have always assumed that it belongs with the car. The car had been in storage since 1968 so I am sure it is original to the car.

Re: PF Coupe and Cabriolet belly pans

Hi Dave, I took some photos and will now send them. My pan looks like all of the others except that there is a smaller secondary removable cover just behind the scoop. I think that I need a tutorial on photo attachment to this site. Any suggestions?

Re: PF Coupe and Cabriolet belly pans

Good Morning Dave,

I have the belly pan from my very early GTE #2259 and will take photos and post them hopefully today. My pan does have the scoop and looks very much like if not identical to the other later series pans posted above. It is also painted black.
