Re: hose question

Greetings... My 64 330GT (5769) had this type of hose for the brake vacuum line when I bought it 40 something years ago but I don't remember what clamps it had.

Re: GTE Overdrive

On my car, an early 330GT, there are two fill plugs located behind seperate access panels. I've heard of them sharing fluid but on mine they are seperate. He overdrive access is almost behind the leading edge of the seat.

Re: GTE Overdrive

Greetings... When I pickedup my 330GT the overdrive worked sporadically. It was amazing how much improved it was by filling it. But you did check that, didn't you?

Re: Tools for the toolkit

Greetings... I have a bag from Richard as well and it is very good. An alledged "expert" questioned some details like stitch count but these bags were supplied by out side vendors and would vary in minor details. Highly recommended.

Ferrari Model Review

Greetings... I came upon this model of a 330 GT on eBay. It looked good so I ordered one. It came yesterday and it is quite good. Well finished and well detailed. The doors and hood don't open so no detail there but the interior looks very good and much like my car. Our cars have attracted little at...

Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration

Greetings... Check your coolant for combustion gasses. This could be a leaky headgasket pressurizing the cooling system. Worse yet, it could be a leak in the head casting.

Re: Brake rotor crossover

Greetings... Caliper kits are available from your local British supplier. I've bought them from British Parts Northwest. Don't remembr the parts number as my shop is about a mile away but they should be able to go from diameter.

Re: Brake Bleeding Trouble

Greetings... I use a home made pressure bleeder bleeding first from reservoir through m/c to booster. Next, through the booster. Next out to the wheels. A couple of quarts of brake fluid and all is well. I am using Lockheed boosters rather than the original Bonaldi because at that time I couldn't fi...

Re: Resistor sparkplugs

I believe Ferrari recommended Champion N7Y. My chart show that as an equivalent to the BP6ES. You can add a "C" to the end and get one with a copper core like NGK. I think I have sufficient NGK's on the shelf to last me.

Re: Resistor sparkplugs

Greetings.. I just had this exchange with NGK I have been using NGK BP6ES spark plugs for perhaps 50 years and I see they now have a different part number. The old system described the spark plug but the news just a number. Pity. I also see the new number is discontinued and the suggestion is a resi...
