Cars as Art?
From today's BBC R4 evening news Here is a link to Stephen Bayley (cultural commentator) arguing that cars can be art and Sarah Thornton (art critic) arguing the opposite, using a Ferrari 250 California as an example. They play "the growl of the Ferrari V12". http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/news/pm/ Cli...

Re: Forum Software Upgrade
The one I have been using gives a 500 pixel wide photo that can be clicked on and increased to 1028 pixels wide. Is anybody actually clicking on them? If not, I will make my life easier and switch to Tom & Josh's way. Tom, The detail in your large photos is great and very much worth the effort. I'm...

It looks great. It's great to see everybody’s cars in the Avatars. Great work Josh! Just as a suggestion - would it be possible to open the Forum in a complete page rather than with the frame to the left like in the pictures below. You could make the yellow "TOMYANG.NET" link at the top take you bac...

Re: Gas Price
I agree that the situation is outrageous but as long as the UK government needs to fund indiscriminate spending; the motorist is an easy source of revenue Regards Ian Hi Dr. Ian, You are being too cynical. The motoring taxes are to encourage us to use our cars in an environmentally friendly way, an...

Yep, you Americans are lucky. I pay approx £120 a week / approx $235 per week for petrol. This is about $12000 a year for 25000 miles. I think the current oil price is a speculative bubble driven by investment funds and it will come back down. That will benefit Americans straight away while we will ...

Salvage Squad was shown on Channel 4 originally in the UK.

My favorite was the Bristol. They always appeared to do the restorations in about 2 weeks; the magic of television.
