FS: 250 GTE Hood

I have a spare 250 GTE hood that I had purchased nearly 20 years ago when my 330 America was undergoing restoration. I sold the car back in 2010 but have retained the hood thinking that I'd have it painted with a Le Mans livery as auto-art. Twelve years later, I really need to make it available to a...

Re: Looking for honest/clean 365GTC/4

Thanks for the emails pointing out the Fantasy Junction car, but it's not quite in the condition I'm looking for (more of a #3 car, than #2 car). I am discussing a different car with Bruce/FJ -- so I keep an eye on their site each month. The good news is that I've located what appears to be a #2 car...

Looking for honest/clean 365GTC/4

After a few years away, I'm itching to get another 2+2 Ferrari. I thought I might go after the 330GT at the Gooding auction (January 2013), but the $200K price tag (plus buyer's premium) is more that I want to spend right now given that I've also just purchased a 1969 911E for my wife. So having tho...

WTB: Fiat Dino 2.4 Spider

It has been 18 months since I've been on this forum, but have sold off most of my car collection -- including my 330 America that went to the UK in Fall 2009 to a Ferrari enthusiast. Since that time, I've restored an OSCA 1600 GT Zagato and even launched a website dedicated to that model (http://www...

Re: 330 America (#5061) SOLD

Guys - thanks for the kind words and I echo everything you've written. The guy that bought the 330 America did it precisely because he loves classic cars, but also loves his 6 and 8 year old kids and wants to involve them in this passion by being able to share both passions (family + vintage cars) t...

330 America (#5061) SOLD

To those who've been on this site several years, they've likely read some of my posts regarding the ride that has been Ferrari ownership. I joined this site about 6 years ago after buying #5061 with the intention of taking the wife/kids out for ice cream on weekends in a "driver" 2+2 Ferrari. A pres...

GTE/GT Power Antenna - Which is Correct?

Can anyone clarify (and possibly email a picture to me) of what the correct power antenna unit looks like for a GTE/330GT? I want to ensure the unit in my 330 America is correct and am told Hirschman in the correct unit, but it looks bigger than the unit that was in my car prior to its restoration. ...

GTE Prices Appear to Remain Strong

It's ironic that every time I receive my 250 GTE Registry & Newsletter, the front page quotes Ferrari Market Letter's absurdly low prices for 250 GTE's, but when I try to find just such a car -- they don't exist at that price. For instance, the latest edition shows a "market price" of $75K for a 250...

Re: #3637

William - was that car on eBay last month and sold for only $40K-$50K?

I saw a 250GTE with crate engine that looked like a nice driver for a really cheap price for someone who wants a resto-mod (so to speak).

Need contact for vintage guages

I want to locate a couple spare oil/fuel/temp Jaeger guages for my 1960 OSCA 1600 GT Zagato. I've done some Google research and came up with very little. Mike at D&M Restorations suggests contacting Francois Sicard for direction -- but I'm not sure how to contact him (Tom could probably relay the me...

John Deboer Italian Registration Book

Does anyone have any information on the registration book/records that John Deboer has compiled for Italian sports cars? I'm trying to research a chassis number and I've been told by another enthusiast that John is usually on Ferrari Chat (although i searched and could not locate him).

Selling: 330 GT Engine Louvers (for fenders)

I've got a set of very nice (no damage) fender louver vents for a 330 GT. One is painted blue and the other is stripped and ready for primer/paint. I've listed them on eBay if anyone wants to see a picture, or I can send a PM for those interested. Let me know if you want them and I'll end the eBay a...

Selling Marchal, Carello, other light parts

Guys - I'm cleaning out the garage and have posted multiple headlamp bucket pairs, trim rings, etc. on eBay and would be happy to end an auction for anyone on this site who needs the parts. I've got the following if you need them: * Pair of buckets with Carello gaskets and Marchal trim rings (should...

Need 250 GTE Dome Light cover

Guys - I'm down to literally an interior dome light cover (plastic) and one ashtray to finish the interior on my 330 America. Both of these parts (and a few others) got lost during the car's transportation from Texas to Symbolic Motor Cars and the subsequent 2.5 years at Symbolic. Frank Botti has a ...
