Try Rutlands

I've bought several sets of points, including a set on the plates from Rutlands. Good stuff, they've been working well!

330 GT Distributor Tach Drive

I'm posting this for a neighbor buddy with a 330 GT that has a distributor tach drive question: My tachometer quit a few days ago and looking at the car today I checked the distributor end of the cable and discovered the cable drive gear was sticking out somewhat from the right angle drive at the ba...

It Really was Great!

Tom and I had a great time...

The FCA Ortega Run always draws interesting older Ferraris.

My GTC didn't make the run this year, but will next year.

Thanks Tom for your support!

Yes, Much to be thankful for!

Since I last posted here alot has happened... I've completed chemo and will complete radiation therapy in the next couple of weeks. Doctors are amazed by my progress. I've been offered a full-time management position by one of my clients (AARP) who knowing the extent of my illness went out of their ...

GTC vs. 330GT

Hi Yale, I have had the opportunity to compare the acceleration of a 330GT vs. my 330 GTC and found the 2+2 more graceful in it's pace to 100 than the GTC. It's amazing what we can accomplish when we have some free time! I've been comparing various brands of flat black paint to freshen up my lower r...

Parts Head

I ran into Tom Shaunessey at the Palos Verde Concours yesterday, where he was judging the Ferrari class. He very kindly expressed his concern about my health and asked a few questions after examining the entry wound to the head. The conversation changed abruptly once he learned about the titanium pl...

Off to a Concours

Bryan, I couldn't agree with you more. When I returned from hospital, I had an invitation letter and two tickets to the Palos Verde Concours here in Southern California. So A friend and I will be the guest of Donald Trump at his golf resort today, I'll get a chance to mingle with vintage Ferrari and...

I'm on the Mend!

I want to personally thank each of you for your kind words and thoughts during my very recent illness. My progress is going astonishingly well. The world-class neurosurgury team at UCLA headed by Dr. Lazeroff performed a miracle and was able to release me to home convelescence late yesterday. I can'...

An Alternative?

I showed the 330 GTC at Quail this year, John showed his PF Coupe just across the way and 22 people showed Series I PF Cabriiolets right next door. There were many other vintage Ferraris in other corrals. This is where our cars are and also where the people who love and support them are. I also show...

Derailed??

Oh Tom; You've definitely been online to long! But come to think, derailed cars are those you see on Wrecked Exotics that tried to beat the train at RR crossings. Certainly Dan's car does not qualify for that dubious honor. Beautiful job Dan! Your detailer must be very accomplished to use the Makita...

My favorite PF Cab was the Peter Collins 250 with the unique cut down driver's door. The event was very well done and it was nice to have my 330 GTC there.
