Re: Chinetti Files-Cars shipping & delivery History

Who is Rick Anderson? What is the lawsuit about? Why can't the info be given to the owners of the cars?

Chinetti Files-Cars shipping & delivery History

Has anyone been able to obtain shipping records from the original Chinetti files ? Several years ago I was told that these files exist at a dealer in the East Coast and will at some point be released to owners of the cars, maybe for a fee.

Re: Screws for upholstery parts

The best quality screws and washers that I have found can be purchased from http://www.restorationstuff.com. in California. They have a couple types of washers. I would call and ask for samples. They are very nice to deal with and very reasonable in pricing at about 4 cents per screw. Other places c...

This is one of the best, if not the best car stories I have ever heard and seen. Its nice to see a car and family like this win wothout seeing some rich persons name attached to it that has basicly bought his way to Pebble Beach to win his trophy.

If you want to see some excellent photos of these seats in various stages of restoration go to f-chat and do a search for Lynx 275. It has a restoration record of a 275gtb and great details. Same seats as a Lusso.

The best product I have found is Neverdull. It is the softest least abrasive product I have used. I cut cotton t shirts into 12 inch lengths. It took me about 6 hours per wheel. Once they are done, they stay pretty clean(as long as you don't drive the car in the rain). Have fun.

Reoriginals has helped me quite a bit on some very hard to find items and the quality has always been good. The screws and washers from them are not up to my standards. The ones from restorationstuff are much finer quality. I needed 4 rear tail light lense screws which I purchased from reoriginals f...

Thank you everyone for your assistance. I found a great supplier for screws and other items. www. Restorationstuff.com .
Example: #4 interior oval head straight slot screws from reoriginals cost 52 cents each. This company only charges 8 cents. Better quality as well.

I am having a difficult time locating interirior trim screws. The ones I am looking for are used to hold the sun visors, rear view mirror, and inside chrome door latch on a 275gtb. These are not the same as the ones used to hold the leather /vinyl panels which I have found at re-originals. I have lo...

The only shop I know about is Westminister auto upholstry 714 632-5050. I have not used him but have heard they are good. You may want to call Symbolic or Norbert Hofer to see who they use. Another person in LA I have heard about is Little John. I do not have a number.
