Magnetti Marelli MT21T Starter - Solenoid Play?
Magneti Marelli MT21T Starter for 330 series I noticed approximately 1/16" of spring loaded play between the starter casting and the solenoid. The three small screws that attach the solenoid to the casting are all tight. Is there supposed to be any play between the casting and solenoid? The starter ...

Re: 330 Engine Bay- While You're In There Tasks
Thanks for the list, Steve. Fortunately this car is a low mileage survivor that was properly stored, so the cosmetics and plating are in great condition for being 50+ years old. The owner wants to keep it this way. Agreed on clutch mechanism and T/O bearing, the bearing has been replaced. Will check...

330 Engine Bay- While You're In There Tasks
A 330 GTS had the engine rebuilt recently. While the engine is removed from the car, the shop owner is preparing to add steel wedges to the front suspension per the Luigi Chinetti bulletin to strengthen the area and prevent cracks (thanks for the reminders, Tom). Are there any other "while you're...

Re: 330 GT 2+2 Rear Frame Repairs?- Differential
It just occurred to me that this car doesn't appear to have the correct differential. Does anyone able to identify this differential?

330 GT 2+2 Rear Frame Repairs?
Upon inspecting a 330 GT 2+2 SII undercarriage, I noticed what appears to be a cut frame tube just ahead of the differential (attached photo). All other photos of this area show a solid tube with three tabs (presumably for a cover) and no flat stock steel near the universal joint. -Can anyone confir...

Re: 2837 GT Profit and Loss.
Thanks for sharing, this is really interesting. Was your car restored before importing it? I am curious to know if the car was a survivor that's been continually updated when systems need attention, or if it got a full restoration prior to your ownership.

Re: 330 GT 2+2 Alloy Wheel Offset, Painted Sills?
Thanks, Peter. A search for that serial found photos of the same car at the same event, thanks! I'm not able to see your 1994 photo for some reason. Personally, I really like how the wheels and tires fill the wheel wells, but I'll pass on chrome sills. The rarity of this particular car's specificati...

330 GT 2+2 Alloy Wheel Offset, Painted Sills?
While researching some 330 GT 2+2's in the "unknown" section of 330GT.com, I noticed a couple of unique details on a 330 (presumably photographed by Tom Yang in 2017): Wheel offset- These wheels appear to have much less dish than every other alloy wheel. Was there more than one alloy wheel specifica...
