There is about a second delay from when the horn button is pushed to the time the horn actually sounds. O rings get sandwitched between the intake mainfold and the cylinder head to brovide sealing.
Question: How tight are the hold-down nuts supposed to be? Do you sinch them down all the way till you can't turn the nuts anymore, or do you tighten them to a certain point?

Copper Washer
If your copper washer is used, thus compressed and leaky you may anneal it, which will make it like new again. Just hang the washer on the tip of a coat hanger and put the torch to it till it turns glowing red hot, then dip it in water. :)
