Re: 330 GT 10 slot wheels

image.jpg Has anyone solved the blistering problem with these ten hole Campy mags? I had innumerable huge festering blisters after the last repaint. Then I had mine powder coated about 6 months ago. I thought that was the solution, but I just found a single new 1/2 dime sized blister on one wheel t...

Re: 3787GT

That's correct. Julio Batista traded it to Pueche (very nice shop outside of Madrid), and I bought if from Pueche and had it shipped it over. Julio really fixed it up nicely, it was in really great condition when I bought it. I sold it to someone in Illinois (through Ed Waterman) and apparently they...

Re: 3787GT

Please tell me this is an ebay scam. I think I'm going to be sick. I owned 3787 for one year. I imported it from Spain to FL. It was originally a Swiss car I think. That is/was a fantastic GTE, incredible color combination. It was mechanically sorted; I drove it every week for a year and never had a...

Re: feedback on powder coating mag rims

Painted, not powdercoated. I'm not sure, but I kind of doubt that the inside was done (judging from the coverage on the inside of the "slots"). although there are xwx's i was told there are tubes present.

Re: feedback on powder coating mag rims

These are like a venereal disease of wheels; embarrassing blisters that keep coming back. There were some prior threads about painting these. The gist was that heat (baking in an oven or placed under heat lamps) was critical. There was mention of zinc chromate primer, ? from aircraft industry? Also,...

GTE cover

I'm looking for a cover. Any suggestions for GTE? I haven't seen any custom GTE covers; do you think universal fit is okay for indoor purposes?
Thanks.

Happy Day

I'm happy to report that 3787 is now in my garage! I picked her up from the importer's warehouse here in Miami this morning; man, I was filled with a mixture of excitement and trepidation; was she damaged in transatlantic transport? Would she live up to my memories of driving her in Madrid? Would sh...

mufaletta

the mufaletta is a traditional sandwich from new orleans that originated at the central grocery, an italian grocery in the french quarter. it's a big round loaf of crispy italian bread with an olive spread sort of like an olive tapenade (but better), provolone (i think), and cold cuts is the best wa...

update

Update:

Wire transfer is done, ouch! The trick is to send the $ in USD as the exchange rate is much better over there. Now I will be sweating bullets until the car goes into the container! Any of you guys use Cosdel?

My photobucket picture keep uploading in small size, any tips?
