Re: Power Windows in my 330 GTC
Hi Cornellis, I admire you (and Tom Kizer) for your fortitude in taking that motor apart. Both of my original Ducellier motors were not rebuildable, or at least that's what I was told. I'm far too old to have thought about condoms (of any sort), but I think Trojan was a major brand, when it mattered...

Re: Posting Pictures to this Website
There's really too much irony in my posting this, ignorant as I am about computers, cameras and life in general, but if you're a Mac user this worked for me. 1) Select your photo(s) by clicking on it in your photo album, then 2) Go to File, pull down the menu and click on Export 3) In the export box...

Re: Power Windows in my 330 GTC
I'm gonna try to post the pix of the "3 terminal block" and also what I think is some sort of limit switch for my PW. I'm a Mac user, so in i-Photo, go to "File" and then in the pull down menu, go to "Export". The box will let you select medium for both quality and sizie, and that's what I did here....

Re: Power Windows in my 330 GTC
I've got the pictures in i-Photo so I'll look at this issue in a day or so. I also have a X-reference list that I got somewhere and I'll publish it this week, if I can remember. thanx again. s

Re: Power Windows in my 330 GTC
I'm still fumbling with i-Photo so I'll send my pictures to you off line. Can't figure how to downsize the darn pictures for Tom's site. s

Re: Power Windows in my 330 GTC
Thanx Kerry, my (remaining) knowledge from physics 102 would draw (pun intended) me to the same conclusion. RE: pitting increases resistance and thus current draw, as the voltage is fixed. Then again, that was at Ohio State, and the drawings (arggghhh!) might have been football plays. Regards. s (I'...

Re: Power Windows in my 330 GTC
For those of you with nothing better to do, here's an update (hey, now I'm an official Ferrari PW blogger!) on my PW. I ran the offending window straight from the battery, using jumper wires to bypass the switch. That worked well and the motor didn't seem to get hot, so I pulled the switch. Close in...

Re: Power window
Just a shot in the dark here, but tho' a pain, wonder if pulling the motor to be sure that the "D" shaft hasn't gone south. I swear these damn PWs are such junk that you'd love to put some GM stuff in there (even 60's PWs from GM were pretty damn awesome) ...if I were smart enough to fabricate this,...

Re: Power Windows in my 330 GTC
Kerry, thanx for the diagram. As I sat looking at it, I was again reminded of why I'm not an engineer (as has been painfully obvious in this exercise)

Re: Power Windows in my 330 GTC
I'm lost here. What about a relay? I don't see one on the schematic and am wondering if you're just using the relay with a 2 wire set up? thanx s
