Hmmmm. I found the tranny number (162). I found a nice flat area to the right of the fill plug on the differential. I do not see any numbers or gear ratio stampings. Could my diff be a replacement?

Zac, thanks a lot! I did notice the 591 numbers. I'll see what next to them. Pictures would be cool. You can email them to me, too, if that's easier: sjvalin at yahoo dot com.

Kerry and Tom, thanks for the info. Kerry, your site never ceases to amaze! If only there was a 365 2+2 site like this.

Can any Queen owners chime in? Bryan?

365GT2+2 diff and tranny numbers

I want to see if the Ferrari Heritage certificate still works and need to cough up my diff and tranny numbers. I see a couple of number strings on the tranny, and one long one on the diff, but this doesn't seem right. Anyone know where I should look and what format they should be in? Thanks! -steve ...

Re: Fram Filter warning

I visited with my local US auto supply house to buy 4 Fram 2804-1 oil filters, was told Fram has stopped manufacturing them. Many of the wholesalers have quantities in inventory, so I stocked up. If your supplier says something different please post a correction. They were dirt cheep by the case of...

What is the name of the fellow who rents an office from TomS and has a beautiful white 365 2+2? I met him at Crystal Cove a few months back.

Ed, I've shipped three cars from the east coast to the west coast in the last 2 years. I used Hog Haulers for the 308 and they were fine. The car arrived undamaged. They use two drivers, so the car got here QUICK. I did not use them again when I shipped my 2+2 out here a few months ago. I didnt feel...
