Re: Ferari 330 America $135,200

Well you guys are wrong again. Steve Serio of Aston Martin bought if for his personel use and will be in his garage next to his other cars. He will have it at Concorso 2006 and he will give you a ride for $5.00. I guess my "awfull pictures" were good enough to sell the car. And to Rudy - $135,200 e...

Can someone copy the ebay listing and the Question & Answer section into this thread so that we preserve it (ebay will eventually take it down). It's really neat to read it, seeing how no one has any idea as to what it is! Regards, Art S. Art, I, too got a huge kick out of the Q&A. I love the guy w...

Good idea, Jimmy. That answers the weight question (90wt). Now the question, what 90wt gear oil to use? Should I consider RedLine 75W90, which I've had good luck with in other cars? The owners manual lists a different oil than the gearbox, but they are both 90wt-ish gear oils. What's the difference?...

Steve, the correct oil weight should be listed in the owners manual, and that is the weight you should stick with. The only question would be to ask around if there is any advantage to using a syn vs. petrol base oil? Jim Jimmy, in theory that would be what I would do. The owner's manual says to us...

365GT2+2 differential oil

What are folks using for oil in the 365GT2+2 diff? From earlier posts here, it looks like the 330GT and earlier cars used 250 wt, and later cars, like the 400, used 80/90. What is supposed to be in the 365GT2+2?

Thanks!

I haven't even thoguht about starting the Ferrari. She's probably going to remain on jack stands as I address the whining transmission. For God's sake, Tom, it's been 6 long months sitting in the dark on jack stands! Take the poor thing for a nice drive! Deal with the tranny later. And welcome back...

The big problem I see in buying a vintage V12 Ferrari nowadays is that you can't be cautious and take your time or someone will come in and snap it up. The supply of these cars is dwindling and the number of buyers is not. If this ebay auction result is legit, the market is getting crazy and panic b...

Is this Spencer Trennery's GTE, or another? I was at FJ a couple of weeks ago and there was a black GTE there that belonged to Spencer, but I don't remember it looking this nice. Maybe a good detail? Anyone call to find out how much?

That beautiful car is our own John Vardanian's baby, and it looks awesome in that color! There was a red PF coupe at Concorso as well, but it just didn't look right. Red is not the right color. The PF coupe's were all made by Pininfarina and took up where the Boano/Ellena left off. About 350 were ma...

Next problem is what grade of fuel. The enging was rebuilt in the mid 90's any thoughts if I should add lead. William, To be safe, I would use premium. Then after you've had the car a while and are familiar with how it drives, try a tank of mid octane and see how that works. Then try the cheap stuf...
