My 365 gt tach gets a little bumpy a lower RPM's and I would like to know how to clean, and what type of lube for the cable is recomended.

Well the heat is on in Texas and my 365gt is suffering heat stroke. Using a Infared thermometer I have determined the Radiator is restricted, the first indication of a problem was the fans did not come on until temps were above 195. I am adjusting the Valves on my 365gt and have removed the right valve cover but the left cover will not move. I have tried tapping on it with a rubber hammer and pulled on the knobs as hard as I can. Any tricks to get it off. Also when re-installing it is it recommended that a little silicone be us...
