Re: My GTC died on the freeway...argghhhh!

Seems like I remember a post about a crack occurring in the fuel pickup in the tank. The tank had plenty of fuel but once the level was below the crack you get no or little fuel. Might be worth a look considering it seems to be a delivery issue. Mike

Re: Hard to start Daytona

Hi Steve, prior to what you would anticipate to be a hard start give a short spray of starter fluid. If it fires away you should be confident that it is the fuel/carb culprit. Good luck.Mike

Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration

Hi A D, could be a number of things obviously. If the coolant is not getting hot it may not be circulating through the motor. Check for obstructions such as a stuck thermostat or the radiator not flowing properly and is the water pump pushing coolant. Good luck,Mike

Good for you Michael ! Great to see someone really enjoy one of these fabulous cars. No doubt a bit of road rash on both you and the car but well deserved and a reminder of great times. Mike

Re: Green Berlinetta Boxer

Hi John, maturity is one thing but remember someone else will probably do something "stupid" with the money you did not spend on the car. Dont want to die with a wallet so fat it hurts to sit down and shuda, wuda, kudas left undone. This from a guy who is still not taking enough time off from work. Mike

Re: Painting Cromodora Mags

Hi Steve, I had mine done years ago and they have held up great. My understanding is that the most important part is to use a chromate primer.I had the shop match the color the wheels were already. I seem to remember a Chrysler silver shade as being a good match. Good luck,Mike
