Re: 250 water pump

Hello Tom,

have the water pump dismounted an shaft still in as adviced by Dyke and will have Daytona style seal conversion.
Build a simple tool to fix the shaft. See pic. Worked fine.

Re: GTE Engine Rebuild

Hi John,

here are the details of the bolt - see pics.

Hope it helps. It looks like it was done in a lathe and the head not fully skimmed.

Re: FACET FUEL PUMP 476087

Dear Yves,

you would limit/set the pressure anyway using the pressure regulator you have on your car. I have the one with 4-5 psi.

Re: GTE Engine Rebuild

Hi John,

no markings on bolt. Seems to be a special made one from the look of it. Hope it helps. If you need more let me know.

Re: wiper motor source

I have good experience with Steve Hunt in the Uk. He rebuilds them and has big stock of Lucas Wiper parts. He has done two motors for me so far. You will find him on ebay. Only drawback is that the wires used were not to original spec. I googled the vendor in Milwaukee on ebay, from the pictures the...

Hi John,

Thanks. That curve is perfectly in line with the data from Gto. So we are on the same side.

Thanks a lot

Re: 250 Gte Distributor

Just to add. This comes from the Service and Maintenance handbook but it irritates us as it does not corresbond with the manual data?

Thanks

Re: 250 Gte rear leave springs

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the answer. I will wait till powertrain is in car and I have driven the first miles to see how the springs will settle with more weight on the springs.

Thanks

250 Gte rear leave springs

Hi Tom, just read your thread on the rear leave installment. Did this in mine some months ago. It is a real hassle. At the moment mine sits a little bit higher on the right side than on the left. I had the leave springs itself overhauled by specialists. One leave was broken and they did both includi...
