Re: Removing cam covers

Just did this last week. Gentle slide hammer works great -- lift mostly from rear. Back off the bottom 4 nuts on each disy drive and flop it back a little to allow the cam cover to come back a little away from the square O ring in the chain cover

tyres

Hi Tom, I didn't make it this year to my great disappointment. Verry much missed seeing you and the whole Monterey experience.
Can you tell me what tyres are on the blue S1 330 in your pic please.
Thanks

Re: oil slingers

Adds a whole 213 gr. weight to flywheel.
That's close enough to 1/2 lb

Re: Unknown Bracket

Forgot to mention this is a late car heater control valve at rear of engine not front.
The post seems to be swaged at bottom under the 3 bolt bracket.
but I guess you could weld it in place as well

Re: Radio Installation, antenna and speaker holes

Ed I have a feeling the speakers were already there and the dealer would just install the head unit. So all cars would have the speaker perforations.
I have heard of cars picked up from the factory having factory installed radios.
