Re: 330GT SII dunlop caliper rebuild or replace
thanks everyone.. this is exactly what I needed to know.
tough call- my car is very original, but its driven fairly regularly and its not a 10/10 show car.
I may go with Dykes suggestion and keep the originals for a future owner.

330GT SII dunlop caliper rebuild or replace
sorry at one point I had to make a new logon but this is my main one so lets use this thread. a few calipers are sticking--- and they were painted black years ago by a PO, so I may use this opportunity to rebuild, cad plate etc. But as I was investigating, I hear there are some "replacement" non-dun...

Re: 330 broken door handle
the finished product was an exact match, but made of steel , and wont ever break since I welded it together.
if you dont weld, but the parts at Home depot and cut file drill them to specs and take to a local welder. for a few bucks, make one for the other side too just in case you need it..

Factory Ferrari visit tips needed
We will be in Paris for my MIL's 90th Birthday, and we are headed to Florence afterwards, so I have arranged a visit to the Factory for a tour. My question is to those who have done this before: anything special in Maranello to do while there? Is it possible to see build documents of my '67 330GT, a...

Re: 365gt AC compressor pulley
I can measure mine later but i would think the pulley is designed to work with the compressor ( from a RPM standpoint) , as the compressor is rated for certain RPM

Re: Need help water pump… Two steps forward one step back
For the seal to work the following must occur. 1.the perimeter of the base of the rubber seal must seat well in the engine case, and may benefit from RTV around the perimeter, as long as you are careful not to block the weep hole 2. The surface of the back part of the impeller must be clean, polishe...

Re: Need help water pump… Two steps forward one step back
thanks Tom I decided to pull the housing off again-- down to 65 min start to finishe ( from 3 hours the first time!). The carbon washer cracked- look at about 5 pm on the pic. I got a new seal from Geoff-- much better than the one I had-- thicker spring, thicker carbon washer. I will post pics later...

Water pump leak?? need some advice
Noticed a few drops of coolant dripping down , seems to come from directly over the fuel pump. 2 findings: one ( which is dry) is this wedge shaped discoloration which may be nothing, as in dirt from an uneven casting on the housing. the other: is the coolant when running and warm seems to drip out ...
