Thanks for the pic. We already made one. I'll post a pic one of these days of it. Tom, don't worry we are very aware of the need to support the front of the motor. We have been doing so and will continue to do so. But overall, things are going really well, I think. We have her stripped down all the ...

Today I cleaned the block of the thick g...

I got the crank out today. The rear main was in bad shape. The crank is nearly as heavy as the bare block. I could carry either but both were heavy. The block was heavier but not by all that much. My daughter is home now. I need to try to get her to help me get the camera to down load. Tom Walgamuth

Today I went and got a 5/8" impact socket, short, and selected a straight shafted 3/8" extension. I took it over to Homer's shop and found that the socket absolutely scoffed at a hack saw. Homer set up his bridgeport mill and milled away all except four lugs on the socket, then drilled out the squar...

I discovered today that one of the pamphlets I got from the PO of my car is by Jim Riff. I just ordered something that he did a couple of days ago, so I hope its not the same thing! In it he recommends a kit for installing ford valve seals offered by Bill Harrah's Ferrari dealership in Reno. Does an...

After them I am only short the combination flexible barrell tool. I am not convinced that they actually came in the pf tool...
