Fest; so sorry about your misfortune. Chances are whoever took your engine knew about your work or had visited your shop. I would back track a bit; you could come up with some suspects. We all hope you will recover your hard work. Best.....Bernard

And by the time you restore the rest of the car, you will end up with a $ 200,000 2+2! So we do it for love; not for money. Bernard

Hi all; my steering wheel is now immaculatley clean and free from all the old varnish. So Fest, do you recommend brushing or air brushing the new Z-Spar finish on the wood? And no sealer? Bernard

Hi all, i have tried all the removers but the original varnish on my steering wheel is not coming off! I even left the Air Craft paint remover on the wheel over night; it did not work! Who says Ferraris are not built solid? Any suggestions? Bernard

Thanks everybody for your input. My steering wheel seems to be made of mahogany so the old finish looks darker and richer in color than some of the wheels i have seen on 250`s. My car has a production date of March 69. I have been told by some that Ferrari changed to Momo in the late 60`s. true? In ...

Does that mean that our haritage certificate is no longer any good? I downloaded the twenty eight page application. Wow, that is a lot of work but if you really want it, well. Is any body considering doing this by Jan of 2004? Best, Bernard

Gerald Roush writes in another site that Ferrari changed from Girling to smaller ATE brakes and that reduced the performance t...
