Re: Securing plate for droop stop rubber
Ok, understood, thank you Tom. What about part Nr. 46 and 47 in this tavola of the 330 catalog? Does the 250 GTE have these? At least these are missing in my car?!

Undercoating
I must define the areas for the undercoating now and ask for your help please. My research brought me to this conclusion: a) wheel housings (inner fenders) b) floor panels up to the aluminium trim/strip left and right c) kardan tunnel (both, the fixed metal part and the removable aluminium part) d) ...

Position of number plate
As the number plates in Austria are quite big it’s aesthetically painful fixing these to the GTE. I found a good solution for the rear plate but struggle with the one in the front. The best solution would be under the front bumper, but the plate would cover 3/4 of the two lower air inlets. My concer...

Re: Securing plate for droop stop rubber
Hello Tom, I guess you mean these 2 welded parts (please see picture/marked blue), right? Does you car have the two securing plates shown in the 330 catalog on Tavola 29 (parts 46 and 47) that seem to secure the rubber part (45)?

Re: Securing plate for droop stop rubber
Thank you for the information. I am not aware which model name the frame of my GTE does have but it is a 2+2. Please see the picture of the section where the droop stop rubber is mounted - would there be the two parts originally? I understand that these shall be fixed on the underside to secure the ...

Securing plate for droop stop rubber
Hi, the 330 catalog shows 2 items on Tavola 29 (parts 46 and 47) that obviously shall secure the rubber droop stop at the front suspension - please see picture. Does anybody ever have seen these 2 items or in best case have dimensions and a picture of these? I do have a 250 GTE and miss these. I sup...

Re: Coil oil fill-up
Hello John, thank you for this information. I only thought about the heat transfer, but you are right of course, the lifespan of the paper is affected by the oil. I have organized mineral transformer oil Nytro T 4000X. The question is if the mixing with the old oil inside of the coil will have any ne...

Coil oil fill-up
I have the red Magneti Marelli 12V BZR 201A coils in my 250 GTE and one of these seems to miss oil. I want to fill-up and have two questions: a) which oil shall I use and b) to what level shall I fill-up? I read that these coils might have been filled with PCB which due to its toxic attitude is not ...

hose question
Does anybody know whether such type of black ribbed hose was ever used by the factory for a 250 engine? My assumption is that this was retrofitted throughout the centuries and is not original. The clamps used when I bought the car were not Cheneys which would underline this assumption, but I am not ...

Re: Problems with seals for front and rear screens
i organised a piece of this seal from Cicognani to provide a sectional view. It is definitely the make of the rubber seal that prevents a proper fit. I modified the pic a little to give better visibility - the trim does not hook into the rubber deep enough. Does anybody have a recommendation for a s...

Crepaldi dealer sticker
My car was sold through the Italian dealer Crepaldi to the first owner. I will reproduce the dealer sticker to attach it to the rear screen as shown in the picture. Does anybody have a better pic from this sticker to reproduce the correct typing? I reproduced several decals/stamps for the GTE in the...
