Ed, see if this link works. The reverse lamps are shown, but look very clear as you suggested. I think that those reverse lamps are also used as front turn indicators on some models, maybe Daytonas. http://www.italparts.com/Ferrari/Ferrari%20latest%20news%20330.htm Check your Lucas parts for their p...

Well Erik, We had a Mondial 8 & the 330 at the same time, so I understand. Amazing the differences in the ride, handling, etc. Have fun. Ours was a 1981 Euro version s/n 36213. Any questions, call me. We had ours for >14 years, so if there was anything to work on, we probably did it. Not bad on the ...

Art, A 330 GT 2+2 Series I (4 Headlight) recently traded in the NY tri-state area above $65m, slightly below the $69+m asking price. So I'll bet you're looking good. This 250 GTE is $55m, condition still uninspected. The May 2004 edition (number) of the British magazine Classic & Sports Car has a Ge...

O.K., since it's near me and I feel obligated to the Forum, I spoke w/ Tony, the owner just now. He is in Stamford, CT. Car is 2 towns over in Port Chester, NY. Car not driven in 5 years. Doesn't want to sell, but can't afford garage rent. Hmmm. Tony works in the Greenwich, CT boatyard. He did the r...

Charles, Welcome to a useful, friendly site. Your A/C concerns are valid considering that you are in AL. But not all Series II's have A/C, only some later vehicles, and these S-II's are single headlamp. So if you are going to, or have to, install A/C anyway then you may just stick w/ the 4 headlamp ...

Jim, thanks for confirming (I think?) what was described to me. As soon as my car is fixed in a week or so, I will post the problem(s) and exactly how we fixed them. The Jag voltage reg is freely available on the web for prices between $41 and $47. I was told that a good shop that reworks alternator...

Not sure of the accuracy of the following parts info, but came from a reliable source. While examining my electrical system problem they found the following: charging system not working properly esp at low revs or with a load such as lights, etc. Sounds like the fix is "relatively" inexpensive, and ...

If it's not the return spring, and if you are beginning to lose clutch actuation, then it might be that your hydraulic fluid is heating up and losing viscosity. Is there supposed to be a heat shield between the clutch hydraulic line and any heat producing source such as the engine or transmission? I...
