Re: fresh air vent hose

Hi,

found a picture on Tom’s blog from may 2001 showing air hose connectors from a 330 America. Does a 250 S3 look the same? And are the hoses directly connected to the fresh air hose in the fender? Any better puctures available? Would be of great help!

Thanks

Re: Spare parts catalogue

Hi Martin,

the body parts catalogue is available as download from Tom Wilsons site 250gte.com. The spare parts catalogue will be one for a 250, not GTE. As far as I know there was
official spare parts catalogue for the Gte.

Cheers

Re: fresh air vent hose

Hi guys, that is just the information I was looking for. Now I know how the hoses run inside the car. I do have two questions: 1.) Do the hoses just run through the bulkhead or is there a special fixture for it? With my car they were just stuck through and fixed with some black body gum glue. 2.) Wh...

Re: Dash light knob

I understand you just look for the knob?

There are some for sale at ebay by Tony Randazzo, but
expensive at 230Euro

Type in search at ebay the following to find it:

Verkäufer:tony_randazzo_308_ferrari_maserati ferrari 250

I think I also saw them at Gto Engineering.

Good luck.

Gto Engineering or Eurospares might be able to provide it.

Ferrari 250 GTE Overdrive ang Gearbox oil

Hi Tom, just read your article on the 250 Gte overdrive/gearbox. What oil do you use in the separate overdrive type and gearbox? Ferrari recommended the same as the gearbox in the old manuals. For those who dont know what type of gearbox they have (I do know) is there anyway of finding out from the ...

Bendix Bonaldi Brake booster 250 GTE

Hi All, I do have a question / problem I hope you can help me with. I had my brake booster for 250GTE / 4701GT overhauled in Italy by Autoepoca Ricambi. They send it back with a small note in Italian meaning that the installed unidirectional valve is not working and that I need to install one upstre...

Re: GTE Fuel door hinge

Dear Bob,

it should come free after removing the bolts. Mine is a tight fit but I managed to get it out with a little bit of
Gentle twisting. I can only think of paint an body sealer hildingbitbin place as well as the tight fit. Hope this helps.

Cheers

Re: Grigio Argento 20265 A Italver

Dear John, dear Dyke, thanks for the hints. I have tried several paint suppliers here in Germany but they are only able to match 18940, not 20265 as grigio argento. Nexa/ PPG even did an request in the headquarter in Italy. They can only provide formulation and product on 18940. I now tried to regis...
