Re: Maintenance

Jim: As one designer to another, drawings have been superior to arm waving and words since the advent of orthographic drawing techniques. Nevertheless, I enjoyed your soliloquy on valve train geometry. In my office I have a saying that my employees probably hate hearing: Looking is not the same as s...

Try the usual suspects: Shaunessy, G.T. Car parts and Eurospares come to mind.

Re: clutch

Thanks Richard, Bryan, Tom and Francois!

Looks like I need to recruit a body builder or two for help. Seems logical though that after going to all that trouble, the synchros and so forth should be looked at.

Cheers

Re: clutch

Thanks Bryan:

You provided a wealth of information. I was able to follow 90% of it and I'm sure the other 10% will be obvious. Unrelated, I believe I saw your former
"girlfriend" motoring around Carmel last month. She looked and sounded fantastic!

Cheers

Re: clutch

Thanks for the suggestion, my 3rd gear syncho. is a bit dodgy on the down shift. So are you saying that the trans needs to be pulled in oder to do the clutch? If so then that probably means removing the interior console and front seats.

clutch

Well, after a few long trips this summer in the 365 gt, it became apparent that the clutch needs adjustment. Easy enough, except that I found that I am running out of adjustment. A new clutch for xmas? I think I should plan my attack. So far I have not seen anything in the literature that I have whi...

Check with Mike Pierce, some webers can be ruined by machining the base, if that's what you have in mind.

Re: NOS Koni Self Leveling Shock for Sale

Hey Tom:

I think you should frame that baby and hang it above the fireplace.....................................................
No, wait, build a Ferrari pogo stick around it, bring it to Monterey and hop around in the pits for a better view.

Cheers
