Hi Terry, As you can see from my interior restoration, there is no easy way out! I would recommed Frank, but he's currently got two Ferraris in the que! Frank did a couple of Daytona/Dino interiors with Black and Tan interiors where the pleats are alternating colors. Very 70s, but very cool looking....

Ferrari Parts
Hi All, I received a phone call the other day from a Dino Ciaburri. He is currently trying to liquidate a collection of Ferrari parts. I am sad to say these parts used to be owned by Jerry Curtis from Newtown, Connecticut. I've mentioned Jerry several times on this site, and he supplied me with the ...

Hi Jim, Welcome to my website! A lot of Vintage Ferrari owners stop by this site, so you will get a lot of "real world" advice in owning one of these cars. Don't listen to what the journalists write. I always am amazed how their ten minute drive in a car can offer an impression that lasts an eternit...

Hi All, I DO believe Ferraris can be reliable, as long as the owner takes the time to make sure it's well sorted. Rebuilding the engines may not have happened with the customer cars, but I will confirm with Francois what the factory did with their GP cars. The deferred maintenance is what I am conce...

In our conversation, Yale wanted to know why then were Ferraris considered durable in races. I reminded him that most race cars are rebuilt before and after a race, and the Ferraris were considered reliable compared to the oter cars. I believe the same goes for a street driven Ferrari. If all the me...

O.K. here's the deal. I spoke with Michael Greenspan, and he has an order in for the company that manufacturers the mylar foil. They have to make a special run of it, so they said it may take "about a month" which was a few weeks ago. Michael, Francois and I decided that the foil was very close to t...

Hi Leo, When restoring our lower priced Ferraris like the 2+2s, spending $200 on seat foil may not be in the budget. The sample that I saw from Michael Greenspan is very close and will definitely be cheaper. If you plan on showing the car to knowlegeable judges at only Concourse events, I would go w...
