Umm wasn't this a discussion about brakes? The web site says"this hose is not to be used with brake fluid." So is this just legalese to be ignored or do we hear Fest going "woooooooooooooooooh, nooooo brakes! CRASH. ? Yale

330 America and 250 GTE at auction

Check out the Kruse auction in Auburn Indiana, August 27th. Two cars that *look* to be in good shape. Best, Yale

As Tom was saying I looked in both Hemmings and Classic Driver and found only one GTE for sale, a red one in White Plains NY, no price given. Ruedi shows that Sports Car Market has listed nine for sale at auction around the world in the last three years. I am sure they missed some but this is no lon...

Bryan, The same pattern is also evident on my 330GT with new valves, guides, and bearings courtesy of a certain Mr. Sicard. I always am amazed that the oil pressure only shows 1 click over lowest bar at idle. What I also wonder about is my oil temp. My oil temp gauge is all over the place, maybe it ...

And 25K is about all those cars are currently worth. It was the most popular Maserati of it's day and more of those were made then any Ferrari of the era.

Well I did get a response today from Mark Langfield at Ferrari Classic Parts Tel: +44 (0) 1784 486253 Fax: +44 (0) 1784 486272 http://www.ferrari.co.uk Unfortunately they don't have hood pads, just complete hoods that include pads ($1300)! Ah well. Thanks for the suggestion. Yale P.S. FYI GT Car Par...

Well I have gotten - off bulletin board - replies that say Tanner's rubber is no longer correct and I have ordered from Re-Originals a few times and had to return the items.

By the way Fest, I wrote to Ferrari UK about getting a hood pad and got no response. Best, Yale

My impression is Ferrari of Uk has mostly hard parts and not hood cover type things but I will try them. Thanks. Yale

Well you folks know I am on this parts information kick which it doesn't seem to be getting much traction. None the less I thought I would continue to detail my experiences for your amusment. I ordered a hoodpad for my series 1 330GT from Lyle Tanner (now called Ferrari Parts Exchange for some reaso...

If you don't pack the resonators with, whatever that material is, you will get more sound. So you could probably get any of the firms that will make an exhaust for you to go this route. Maybe you split the difference and just leave the rears without material. I only heard my Ansa with all the stuff ...

Exhaust sound

Tom Y. has a Stebro system and it is a bit motor boat-y in terms of sound. I have a TimeValve which is much closer to the original sound of the car, well as much as I can tell since my original Ansa exhaust was all rotted out and so quite a bit louder then the Timevalve. The TimeValve people fitted ...

I saw a Tubi display at that Lime Rock event where they had a price list for available systems. Didn't know they made one for the 330GT's, but they do. About 1700 a side for the fronts and 900 and some for the back, (each side). I asked about their warranty and they said two years! I don't know what...

You folks want to see what the new four seat ferrari is going to look like:

A bit like the 365GTC/4, which is a design I like. I saw one in orange! very nice, at Saturday's Ferrrai event at Lime Rock.

In my misguided attempt for truth in 330 advertising I wrote the ebay guy about wether his car was the same car as previoudly advertised with frontal damage and wondered why this was not revealed. Here was his response: Yale, It is the same car.If you look at the drivers side picture you can clearly...
